Job overview

We are seeking a seasoned, data-driven Senior Growth Marketer to join our team and drive growth for Middleware products. As a Senior Growth Marketer, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire and retain customers, optimize conversion rates, and maximize revenue. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to implement data-backed initiatives that fuel the growth of Middleware product.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Own and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns (paid, organic, email, community) targeting DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering personas.
  • Build and optimize full-funnel campaigns from awareness through sign-up and paid conversion, with clear attribution and ROI tracking.
  • Drive outbound marketing programs in conjunction with the SDR team, including intent-based outreach and ABM plays targeting ICP accounts.
  • Design and run experiments to improve free-to-paid conversion rates across Middleware’s freemium and pay-as-you-go tiers.
  • Partner with product and engineering to identify and amplify product activation signals — targeting ‘aha moments’ in the user journey.
  • Build and manage lifecycle email/in-app nurture sequences that guide trial users toward expansion and retention.
  • Collaborate with the SEO and content team to develop programmatic and editorial content strategies targeting high-intent observability, DevOps, and cloud-native keywords.
  • Drive thought leadership and community presence in developer and DevOps communities (GitHub, CNCF, Reddit, Discord, Slack groups, dev.to, etc.).
  • Identify co-marketing and integration partnership opportunities with ecosystem players (OpenTelemetry, AWS, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Build a structured experimentation framework — running A/B tests across landing pages, onboarding flows, email sequences, and ad creatives.
  • Report growth performance metrics to leadership on a weekly/monthly cadence with clear insights and recommended actions.
  • Develop messaging and positioning that resonates with technical buyers who are actively migrating away from Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk.
  • Create battle cards, competitive comparisons, and ROI calculators that support sales-assisted deals and self-serve evaluation.
  • Support product launches and feature announcements with go-to-market campaigns across web, email, and community channels.

Qualification and experience

  • 4–7 years of growth marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company, preferably in developer tools, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or observability/monitoring.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning and growing a demand generation or PLG program with measurable impact on pipeline or revenue.
  • Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or equivalents.
  • Strong understanding of the developer and DevOps buyer journey — including how technical users discover, evaluate, and adopt tools.
  • Experience running paid campaigns (Google, LinkedIn) and organic growth programs (SEO, community, content) in parallel.
  • Data-driven mindset: comfortable pulling and interpreting data, building dashboards, and making decisions based on metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical product value into compelling marketing narratives.
